This Privacy Policy explains how Umrahub, a platform operated by TryGulf LLC, collects, uses, and safeguards personal information when you interact with our B2B2C services, websites, portals, and mobile experiences (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to the practices described below. We may update this policy from time to time; continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
1. Scope & Roles
Umrahub provides digital tools for both end travellers (B2C) and licensed Umrah agents or corporate partners (B2B). Depending on the activity, TryGulf LLC may act as a data controller (deciding why and how data is processed) or as a data processor on behalf of our partners. When linking to third-party sites or suppliers, their privacy notices govern how they treat your data; we encourage you to review those policies independently.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information to deliver and improve our Services:
- Account & Identity Data: Name, nationality, gender, date of birth, passport details, agent licence data, and contact information submitted during registration or booking.
- Contact Details: Email addresses, phone numbers, company details, emergency contacts, and communication preferences.
- Travel & Booking Data: Itineraries, destinations, travel dates, rooming lists, visa requirements, transfers, and ancillary services requested.
- Transactional Data: Payment confirmations, billing information, Magnati gateway tokens, refunds, and reconciliation records. Full card details are handled exclusively by certified payment processors and are not stored by Umrahub.
- Technical Data: Device identifiers, IP address, browser type, operating system, log files, cookies, and analytics tags to secure and enhance the platform.
- Support Interactions: Voice calls, WhatsApp messages, emails, and chat transcripts with our customer success and operations teams.
3. How We Use Your Information
We process personal data under contractual necessity, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and—where applicable—your consent. Use cases include:
- Facilitating bookings for flights, hotels, ground transport, tours, and visa services for pilgrims and groups.
- Creating and managing agent dashboards, commission rules, and sub-agent hierarchies.
- Processing secure payments via Magnati and other licensed gateways, managing refunds, and fulfilling regulatory audits.
- Sending confirmations, itineraries, visa guidance, operational updates, service alerts, and onboarding materials.
- Providing multilingual customer support, incident response, and emergency assistance.
- Improving platform performance through analytics, bug diagnostics, A/B testing, and personalised content.
- Complying with governmental requests, Hajj & Umrah regulations, anti-money laundering requirements, and other applicable laws.
4. Information Sharing
We only share personal data with parties who need it to deliver the Services or when legally required:
- Travel Suppliers: Airlines, hotels, ground operators, transport providers, guides, and insurance vendors to confirm reservations and fulfil pilgrim services.
- Technology Partners: Nedherd TTS, payment gateways, SMS/email platforms, cloud hosting, and support systems engaged under data processing agreements.
- Authorities & Regulators: Ministries, immigration, border control, and customs agencies when required by law or the Umrah licensing framework.
- Corporate Entities: TryGulf LLC subsidiaries, parent entities, or prospective investors subject to confidentiality obligations.
- Professional Advisors: Auditors, legal counsel, and consultants assisting with risk, compliance, or dispute resolution.
We do not sell, rent, or lease personal information to third parties. Any marketing communication shared with partners is controlled by explicit opt-in mechanisms.
5. International Data Transfers
Umrahub operates from the United Arab Emirates and may process data in other jurisdictions where our suppliers or cloud infrastructure reside. We implement appropriate safeguards—such as contractual clauses and access controls—to ensure data receives equivalent protection, regardless of the processing location.
6. Data Retention
Personal information is retained only as long as necessary to deliver Services, meet contractual obligations, satisfy legal and accounting requirements, or resolve disputes. When retention is no longer required, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
7. Data Security
We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards—encryption in transit, role-based access, multi-factor authentication, and monitored networks—to protect your data. While no system is entirely immune to risk, Umrahub follows industry best practices and partners with certified vendors to reduce exposure.
8. Your Choices & Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or update personal data on record.
- Request deletion or restriction of processing, subject to legal or contractual limitations.
- Withdraw marketing consent or adjust notification preferences.
- Port data to another provider where technically feasible.
To exercise these rights, reach out via the contact details in Section 12. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
9. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Umrahub uses cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies to remember preferences, authenticate sessions, analyse traffic, and deliver personalised content. You can configure your browser or device to refuse cookies; however, certain platform features may not function properly without them.
10. Communications
We may send transactional communications (booking confirmations, travel alerts, security notices) and, with your consent, promotional messages about packages, features, and partner offers. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time through the unsubscribe link or by contacting our support team.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 18 years of age. We process minor data only when it is supplied by a parent, guardian, or authorised agent for the sole purpose of fulfilling a pilgrimage booking.
